We are ImaNeda, an artist couple who specialize in glass sculpture, based in Venice, Italy since 2012. Working side-by-side with Murano’s master glassmakers, we use kiln-casting, hot-modeling, lampworking and fusing to turn molten silica into contemporary form. Our path began at the Tehran Academy of Fine Arts, where we first studied glass and wood, then continued at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, earning BFA and MFA degrees in Sculpture and Decoration. While glass remains our mother tongue, we often let wood and metal join the dialogue, allowing each material to challenge and complete the others.
